Challenge 24

Hi! I`m Morpheus and I`m with Jayda. We are going to talk about Challenge 24. I think Challenge 24 is fun and it encourages people to learn their basic facts and test their knowledge to what they know so far! It`s a lot of fun and you should try it sometime! All you have to do is look at the card, and try to figure out the problem! If the card says, 7, 2, 9 and 1, here`s how you figure out the problem. 7 times 2 equals 14, 14 plus 9 equals 23, and 23 plus 1 equals 24. Always a card has a way to get 24, you just have to figure out how to get to 24. You might get 25, or even 21, but that means your getting closer to figure out the problem! Once you know it, then tap the card with 2 fingers, and then say how you got it. But be careful! You only have a certain amount of time to say it! If you look at the picture below, you`ll see what I`m talking about!

Class Election

Hi this is Morpheus. I am going to tell you all about the Creative Cougar's class election. Josh was running against Lexi. They all voted for someone on the laptops. No one can tell who they voted for. Now Josh is our new class president. He asked Lexi to be our new vice president. They were probably nervous. Here is a picture of them.

Study Island

Study Island is a webstite that kids can go on and do different lessons on subjects such as reading, writing, and math. You can also play games like home run derby or mini golf and so on. The best part [in my opinion] is earning blue ribbons everytime you pass a lesson. Then you feel like a winner. It is a very cool website.I like it alot. Click this link to go to: Study Island.

Band

Hi! I am Morpheus. I got to see all the fifth graders that are in band. It was amazing. They are professionals. I love it! I would play the trumpet because the trumpet only has three keys. Flute looks the hardest. When the whole band plays, it is really loud. The flute is the quietest. The saxophone and the trumpet are the loudest. Ms. Burke is the music, chorus, and band teacher. It was so fun!! I love band! If I come to your school show me the band room.

Hi I'm Morpheus and I'm going to talk about our Halloween party. We had a Halloween party on the 29th. It was really fun! We played mummy wrap up! We had cookies and juice and candy! There were a lot of people at the party. There were even some adults that came in to help with the party.

We all had a BLAST!

Morpheus and Lily

Hi this is Morpheus. I am talking about Lily today. She is Mrs. Abernethy's Creative Cougar's class pet ferret and my new friend. She is very nice but a fast runner. She stinks too. She sleeps all day. I have a picture of me and Lily here.
